June 6th:

STEVE White, Hereford United's 37 year old striker is a target for Gloucester City boss Leroy Rosenior.

White took the Bulls to the brink of promotion with 33 goals last season as they were beaten in the division three playoffs but despite being offered a new contract at Edgar Street City Chairman Keith Garnder has been in constant touch with the player at his holiday hotel in St Lucia.

"He is very interested in joining us to see out his playing career with a view to moving into the management structure" said Gardner.

June 15th:

HEREFORD United manager Graham Turner has revealed that he has heard nothing about Gloucester City's interest in Steve White, who has still not signed a contract with the Division Three club. Defender Murray Fishlock has agreed a new two year deal at Hereford.

June 22nd:

Hereford United's reserves will compete in the Central Conference of Midlands based sides including the likes of Gloucester City, Cheltenham Town, Hednesford Town, Kettering Town, Kidderminster Harriers as well as possibly Worcester City and Newport AFC. Stoke City and Hereford United will be the only league sides involved.

THE fixtures are out and Hereford United's first game will be at home against Fulham.

And in the Coca-Cola cup Hereford have been drawn against Cambridge. Ties will be played on a two-legged basis with the first leg to be played during the week commencing August 19 and the second leg on the week commencing September 2.

Stuart Watkiss has moved to Mansfield after joining the Bulls last February. He made 19 appearances for the Bulls.
